Guidelines for Poster Abstract Development

1.  Title of presentation
2.  Name of author(s) and credentials
3.  Title at work, department and institution
4.  Lead author (if applicable)
5.  Overview or Intent of the presentation
6.  Body of the abstract:

  • Define the problem.
  • Define the solution; include the process followed, time involved, who was involved and expected outcomes.
  • If research data is involved, describe how the research was conducted, over what period of time and the results.
  • Identify the cost to implement, including time, resources or other costs, if applicable.
  • Evaluation of the solution and any further actions recommended.
  • Include related bibliography as applicable.
Audience: March 1 and 2 will be predominately professional attendees and March 3 will include people with brain injuries, their families, and community members.

Poster Instructions
Poster Size Posters should be no larger than 4 feet (1.2 m) wide by 3.5 feet (1.0 m) tall. Many folks limit their poster to 1m x 1m to maximize readability when standing. You will be given a poster location when you check-in.

We would like posters to stay up as long as possible during the conference. Thanks.
